Over the many years of this wonderful league we know there were many playoff records established that were never recorded. That part of our history was lost forever. We are sorry and wish somehow that they were all here. We know that the over all records would make this page something really very special. SPECIAL SEASON RECORD



NO ONE HAS EVER DONE IT BATTER
THAT WE KNOW OF?

Let it never be over looked. That something happened during the 2005 season that was really hard to believe. And no one knows if any other pitcher ever came close to accomplishing anything like this feat in all of the leagues first 49 seasons?

This all started on July 13, 2005 when Fishtown’s pitcher John Johnson went to the mound to face one of the best hitting teams in the league for many years once Anthony’s II now known as Freddy’s Friends. Johnson pitched a six hitter and won the game 12 to 2.

Because the team has just one pitcher the next night July 14, he had to pitch again this night he was to face the champions of the 2004 season and again the team leading the league at this point and winning it again in 2005 Murph's Bar. On this night he pitched a shut-out and won 10 to 0.

Because of a small break in the schedule he would not pitch again until the 19th of July on this night he faced the Chug a Mug team not having a great season at the time and pitched a five hitter and won this game 2 to 1.

This ended one of the most amazing stretches of pitching in the annals of this league. Something like this may have happened over the leagues many years. But not in the last 15 season’s and maybe never?
